It's the cutest

I don't want to forget some of the most higly intelligent conversations or statments that Jack says to me.  So, here I am going to document some that have happened lately.  Everyday, I swear it is something new but he is almost 3 and he has quite the mind of his own.  I love it almost all days.. there are a few and far in between when I don't.

(the names in the follow story have been changed to protect those involved :))

Situation A:

Two to three weeks ago we (I) started to become a dog hoarder.  I have always loved dogs and I would have a house full if they came potty trained and my better, other half would allow it.  This particular night we had four dogs at our house. Dog A, Dog B, Dog C and Puppy A

Jack and I were enjoying a night on the couch, he was sliding through the music on the itouch, I was sitting next to him browsing facebook or some other website. All dogs had been tired and were laying scattered on the floor.   I was casually looking over at Jack making sure he didn't chose a weird song or get on the internet.  Jack would kindly look up and smile, tickle my arm and go right back to his business.  Well, what would you know.. it happened...  Dog B has quite a way of clearing out a room pretty fast, let's just say he tends to let some gas slip through him.  Well, Dog B had let one get by and what do you know the following conversation took place...

Jack: "Mom, what's that smell?"

Mom: "What smell buddy?" (me, trying to ignore the nasty, ripe smell)

Jack: (sniff, sniff)  "Mom! What is that smell?"

Mom: (sni.. I could bare to take a full sniff) "Oh, i think Dog B let a stinky."

Jack: "OH"

Mom: "Yep, sorry bud, it'll go away soon."

Jack: (now, waving his hands in a fan like motion in front of his face) "Mom, that is disgusting!"

Mom: "I know, sorry."

Sorry to say but this was the only beginning of the stinky smells that came from Dog B.  However, we loved having Dog B here and can come back anytime!

Situation B:

Short and sweet...

Jack: "Hey mom, what ya doin?"

Mom: "I am cleaning off Baby 1's bum."

Jack: "Oh, did he poop?"

Mom: "Yes Jack, he did"

As i proceed to wipe Baby 1's bum...

Jack: "Oh wow Mom, Good Job!"

So, if anyone needs some or a slight bit of encouragement... You know who to call!  Jack is always great to add the commentary to everything that is being done.  Always there to ask and double check again.  Make sure nothing has changed.  I love him for this and it gives me such a great laugh!

These are only a few that have occurred in the last few days but they are great ones! Hope you enjoy as much  as I do.  Have an almost 3 year old around is some great entertainment!

That is the best age. When Luke was in his first year of preschool. They did this nice mothers day card and they asked the kids several questions. Luke said my mom is so smart she can do the dishes. Wow! I should go into rocket science.
