Jacks Favorite Things

Right now Jack is really loving to play with his feet! He can be entertained with them for quite some time.. that and of course he loves his mother.







Jack also loves to suck on Adams nose.. he does this when mom can't fix his rice cereal fast enough for him.. so, while I try and mix it adam will keep him entertained. The other night, he started to have a death grip on Adam and kept pulling him close to his mouth! It was quite the scene.

About time!!

First I have to say "thank you" to my husband.

To Adam: Thanks for all you do and for working so hard that it allows me to be home with Jack. I love that i get to spend everyday with Jack and still get lots of time with you when you get home. I'm not always the best and easy to get along with but you help me out so much. Thank you, Thank you Thank you. I'm so grateful for you and all your hard work. I don't say it near enough!!! I love you so much.

This is such a happy day, just like all of them, but today jack hit a milestone and i'm so lucky to be able to be home and see it first hand. Much thanks to Adam for providing for us with all our needs and much much more. (All those wants too) It makes me so excited and happy to be home with my baby!

Jack has only been able to roll over lately if he gets a little help, he seems to get stuck halfway. He's been doing that for awhile but finally... Today he did it on his own and from his tummy to his back all by himself. Not just once either, he did it several times. I am so proud of our little man!!! I'm posting it on the blog so his daddy can see it! This is for you babe! Love You

Wedding

Congrats! Cameron & Jessica got married on October 16, 2008. Cam is our little brother and couldn't have been more happy for the two of them! We love you guys!

The ceremony was beautiful! It was great to go inside with Adam and be there with the family along side. As you can see even Jack was happy! The reception was decorated so beautiful! I loved her colors. Cam and Jess were beaming all night and that was so great! After watching them I remember why my face hurt at the end of the night... smiles smiles and more smiles!

Rice Cereal

Jack got to try rice cereal for the second time tonight. I think he is so cute, at first he gives the most disgusted look but once you tell him that it's okay and yummy he seems to change his ideas. I must admit its a little cruel cause i would never eat it.. it can't taste that great. He does pretty well though. Of course though after, we had to take a bath...Well, here are some pics! Enjoy!!

4 month check-up!

Jacks Stats:

Weight: 16lbs 15oz (75%)

Height: 25 1/2 inches (50%)

Wow! Has it really been four months! Time is just flying by. Jack had his doctors appointment yesterday. He was quite the happy baby going in. Jack was smiling and of course flirting with the nurse. I think this is only the beginning of the flirting and teasing. We're going to have our hands full, I can only imagine!

As for his progression, he is right on track and doing very very well. In the next few months, we get to start him on rice cereal. Yahoo! Jack did try rice cereal the other day and did pretty well. His face was not sure about it but after a few bites.. he sort of got the hang of it.

The hard part of yesterday was him getting his shots! He was quite good. He didn't scream until the very end of the last shot. Even when he did scream it was just for a second, the tylenol might have helped, and then he was fine. He's our tough man! I would have screamed and cried, I am terrified of shots! So, he's much better than his mother. Later in the day though... you could tell he was sore and wasn't digging the tenderness.

Better news though... he's back to his outgoing, loving self today! We love jack so much and are excited more and more everyday to watch him grow and develop!

Jaycee Tending Jack

4 Months!

Yesterday Jack turned 4 months old. I can't believe how much he has grown. I will always remember the day he was born. I must say that it is true when people say, "they grow up so fast!" It is so great to see how he has progressed. He is such a strong willed baby and he has such a personality. He has his mother wrapped around his finger but i can't complain. I love that he recognizes my face and sometimes when he just wants to be held and snuggled, I just can't help myself but to swoon to him.

We go to the doctors next week for his check up and i'll update ya then on his weight and height. Until then, I'll keep enjoying every moment!!

Peaches!!

On Monday I went up to my sisters and helped her and my grandma can peaches. She did most the work but i help cut them up and bottle them. I actually think that i ate more peaches then probably I canned but, oh well. They were just so delicious, I couldn't help myself. Jaycee also LOVED them.


Through all of this, Jack was such a good baby. He just sat in his swing. Jaycee loves to help out and attend to Jack. It's quite cute to always see the two together.
