Santa Baby

Every year the Georges side of the family has a christmas party.  It's fun to get together and eat and just enjoy time together.  This year was quite the experience with santa.

Last year, I believe Jack had no idea what was going on so he was pretty chill.  This year however, completely different story!! 

Holy cow... stranger danger!!!

His cousin, Jace, not really digging santa either!!!  Maybe next year.. :)

18 Months

I don't know how many times I can actually say this but... 18 months old.  My baby is 18 months old, it is crazy how fast the time goes. Jack has such a strong personality, at times I think it is a little payback from when adam and I were little.  He has such a die hard attitude with some things, he won't stop until he has accomplished his goal.  Mainly when he is discovering new things or climbing on the table or climbing at all for that matter. 

He even tries to be sneaky and slide his way against the wall and slowly bend down to get something.  When he gets it, then it is take off time and away he goes laughing. 

He loves to talk and copy cat me and adam.  He is defiently expanding his vocabulary everyday and my favorite word right now he says is, "no-man" which anytimes he sees a snowman he says it.  I love it!   He loves to put on hats and loves when we get ready to go anywhere he grabs his shoes and sits on my lap waiting for me to put them on.  If they are anyone elses shoes, he will give them a try too. 

The other day, I was picking up the house and mainly the bedroom when I start to hear giggling coming from the front room.  So, I walk in and see jack on the fireplace playing with his bowl of fishes and misc,.  I still don't know what he was laughing at but, it must have been an inside joke.  :)  The self entertainment is nice sometimes also!!  He is such a happy boy and I love his personality!! Can't wait to keep watching this kid grow. 

Halloween 2009

Just some highlights of halloween:

• Jack loved getting into his costume
• Loved being with other kids
• Loved holding his own candy bag
• Looked very curious at the pumpkins
• Would walk on his own and not always have to be held
• Especially loved the chocolate!

It was a fun and successful year!!

Who could resist??

Hello fellow bloggers! I have a lot to be blogging about but one of my favorite times with the little one has to be documented.

Somedays, I feel like we get up, we eat breakfast and pick up the house so I am sure the little guy gets a little bored. I really can't blame him though either.

One morning I was cleaning and it became too quiet. Well, I should have know better, because that always screams trouble!! Well, of course, how could I be mad. I laughed and he thought it was pretty fun himself. Things are always so fun and entertaining with this one around! I love it and wouldn't have it any other way!!

What is a mother to do?? Ha Ha. Except to always keep the toliet clean. However, we now have even resorted to just keeping the door clean.

How in the world

I have no idea where the time goes!! How does my little baby grow to be so dang big?? I am sure there are many of you out there, that know what i am talking about! Where oh where did all the time go??

some many things

Sorry for such a boring title! It just feels like I have been super busy and there are not enough hours in the day. Well, I guess the most exciting and most recent news is that we have found out the sex of baby #2. We decided to invite the family once again to all come and we made a trip to fetal fotos. I have to say, at first I was okay to wait till the doctors office to find out. I mean, I am only 17 weeks. Seems a little early to find out but I couldn't resist and of course when my great and wonderful in laws offered to pay. There wasn't really anything stopping me.

So, the 4 weeks before that, I went to my doctors and it was the first time to hear the heartbeat. Well, after we ended up seeing the little one on an ultrasound, I think right there and then, I had made my mind up that it was a girl. So, for about 4 weeks I was determined and even a little mind set on that it was the sex of the baby. So, we go into fetal fotos with everyone and all go in the room and the technician says... "ready to find out?"

IT'S A BOY! I think I went ghost in the face. I know in my mind, I thought, cry now? or in the privacy of my own home? After the shock went away I true am loving the idea of having two boys so close together and not to mention, we already have the clothes and everything else. So, I am HAPPY to say again, we are having a boy. Feel free to throw any names out there.. we have one so far that we really like... but it can always change!

what can i say..

we are the family that likes to do themed parties... ok, so only two so far but we are trying to get amber to do the next one.

this time.. well, i'm sure it's not hard to see exactly the theme. Kylee worked her butt off with getting everything set up and it was a huge success.

17??

So, in the event that the movie 17 again just came out. We decided to have a party with that exactly in mind. We hosted a party with friends and family to come over...we'd watch the movie and just hangout for a good time. Well, the dress code was enforced and that being that you had to come dressed like you did when you were 17.. way back in the day...

Well, it was a success and it was fun to see every ones outfits.
(Jennifer and Wade) Jennifer had it down really good with a star bracelet, peace earrings, gold sparkling shift, above the waist pants and the most beautiful eye makeup.

Amber, Tyler and Jace. Amber came complete with her manikin head, up do from beauty school with apron, her wingers waitress book with a picture of her missionary inside and her trophy from a beauty pageant. Amber was a great sport and got into great!!

Thanks to all those that came!! it was a fun night... for those who haven't seen the movie, i would highly recommend it.

Jack is loving that he can feed himself... well sort of getting the hang of it.....

I love that he is becoming very independent!! He has such a strong personality that he isn't afraid of anything and climbs everywhere.. so we are very busy keeping him so he doesn't fall!

Big Brother!?

Yes!! That is very much true! Jack is going to be a big brother in 2010! We are excited to share the news with all of you!!

July 4th

We had a fun 4th of july. As i am sure everyone did! Cause who can complain when it is spend with family. For me, I felt like it just cruised through the weekend.

Saturday morning we got up and went to the Kaysville parade. At first, Jack was a little nervous about all the sounds the fire engine and cops were making. However I think by the end he was a

little better. He was a pretty good sport for the parade too! He had snacks and a full tummy and he was a happy boy. Anytime he saw a truck he got really excited and ooh and aahh at it.

Then after we went to lunch as a family and he was more than ready to eat more food and be full. Then as always, happy full baby=long nap.

So, after that we came home and all three of us crashed for awhile. Then, bummer part was i had to go to work and they ended up staying home.

Summer times

Hope everyone is having a great summer!! I now know why parents love the summer, to exhaust children during the day and sleep all night. Love it! With Jack being as active as he is the summer is great.

We go outside, he runs around and I usually chase him cause he is too mischievous. However by the time it is afternoon nap he is zonked out. usually me too but at least he is having fun!

Also we get to see our friends, Play dates are so great and so fun. Getting to see them more often is great too.

So, if anyone ever wants to just get out, and play or let the little ones play. Call us, we are always up to it!

Grandma Jeffs

So, a little late on the post. However, I don't wanna forget what a wonderful women who was apart of our lives for so long.

Grandma Jeffs, Gwen, was such an amazing women. She passed away on June 5th, 2009 and returned home to our Heavenly Father. She lived an amazing 95 yrs and 23 of those years was with me. I feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful example and support in my life. She was quick witted and had so many memories and life experiences that she always would share with me.

The memories with her are ones that are unforgetable. The ones that i will treasure and reflect back on for many years to come. I loved my grandma so much and she was the sweetest. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and her grandchildren loved to make her smile. She always had a light in her eyes and even glowed brighter when her family was around.

Although she will be missed down here with us, she is up with her husband whom she has been without for 29 yrs. So, Grandma we miss you but we also know you are watching down on us and will always love us and be close to our hearts.

The Zoo

Last week or so, Jack and I along with Amber and Jace, Kylee and Jennifer all decided to go to The Hogle Zoo. Wow! That place has changed! I haven't been there in forever and wow was i totally surprised!

Within the first couple of minutes Kylee scared Jace with a mask. Such a mean aunt! ha ha just kidding! After that, I told her to do it to Jack to see if he would get scared too. She declined. I just can't understand why.... :)

Jack loved to look at the animals. He was happy the entire time and loved to get strolled around! Who wouldn't though! Here are some fun pictures of our day...
