Ready or not.....

We got some real exciting news today!!! We had a doctors appointment today and just thought it would be a normal one.

However we were quite surprised it was a little different after we left. Last week i had experience some pretty intense contractions one day. They slowed down and weren't bad after about a couple hours. Well, ever since than i've had them little by little everyday, nothing to worry about though. Plus, in the last two weeks, it's felt like he has dropped.

So, we went today and i had informed them about all of this and so, just as a percaution they wanted to check me. Yahoo for me... :) Well, it's a good thing i have a great doctor.. so she checked and well... ready or not jack is on his way.

I am dilated to a 3, his head is at a -2 and i'm 80% effaced. He is also 38 cm long. So, the doctor suggested to slow down activity at home.. so pretty much be lazy. She would like for me to try and get as close to 36 weeks as possible. Right now i am at 34 wks and 2 days. She said, pack your bags and be ready.... so, it was pretty exciting for us. We will see how it goes and we go back in one week... if i can make it that long!

So, it's awesome!!! We are super excited! i'll post pics of the nursery... we got that done this weekend with the amazing help of the family! thanks so much guys! I'll keep you all updated! Much love!

Ms Deysi Dukes...

Well, i know i've talked about her before... i just haven't put any pictures up of her yet. Yes, her full name is ms. Deysi Dukes George. She has grown quite a bit from the beginning but she is still as cute as ever. Still working on the potty training but she has come along far since we got her.

She loves to play with cooper. They chase each other around alot and she likes to nibble at his ankles. He's such a sport for putting up with her. It's good for their exercise! Eventually they get tired and fall asleep by one another. awww so cute!

She also loved to play in the snow.. it's very hard to get her to come inside.. maybe because she turnes into a snowball herself while she is out there.

Last but not least. We think that she thinks she is a cat. She loves to paw soft at things that dangle in front of her and she Loves to play with yarn. (thanks tina) One day i came home and saw that she had found the yarn inside a bag and had taken it out and decided to run it all around the house. It was quite the clean up but it kept her well entertained!

Baby Boy

Well, as you all know we found out, just before christmas, that we are having a baby boy. We went to fetal fotos and they did video and gave us pictures. At first, i didn't want to go but after we got there it was so neat. We had family with us and we all got to see him for the first time. He was super active! I can only imagine what he will be like when he comes out. However, I can't be too suprised given who his parents are. :) haha.

Also a few weeks ago and ever since than he has been kicking. I now know exactly what is a kick and what might be gas! Two different feelings. Wierd how it is. We go to the doctor again in about a week again. Everything has been great so far!! No complaints here. Love every second of it... minus the heartburn. Well, as for now that is it. i'll update ya later! Loves!
